The island of the Nile near Aswan, Egypt's border with Nubia. Best known red and gray granite, and the city of Elephantine Pharaonic which was ruled by Khnum (god ram) waterfalls employer.
Has been made in the granite quarries obelisks and statues of Pharaonic. Were considered Nuba gate in the old state.
